The green light will absorb red pigmentation and help fade these blood vessels. Treatment will also help prevent rhinophyma, the enlarged red nose which is the complication of rosacea.
Brown spots or lentigos seen in sun damaged skin can be treated with yellow light. The treated areas will often form a darker brown scab. This scab falls off in one to two weeks leaving the treated area lighter.
